【 摘 要 】

According to the legislation of the Russian Federation, it is required to establish an electronic model within the framework of a water supply plan development. It should be mentioned that in order to obtain the reliable results of modeling, it is necessary to verify the model; this verification is achieved based on the statistical data on the operation of a water supply system. For model calibration, foreign software complexes apply the programs based on genetic algorithms. At the same time, the analysis of Russian software products reveals the absence of such functions. The aim of this article is to describe the algorithm operation of the electronic model of a water supply system using a genetic algorithm by the example of a network taken from technical literature. The developed automatic calibration algorithm is applicable to Russian software "ZuLu".
