【 摘 要 】
To clean and restore areas with man-made pollution, bioremediation methods are increasingly used. These methods are based on the use of the biochemical potential of microorganisms and are safe for the environment. The article is devoted to the investigation of the effectiveness of the use of a microbial preparation for the remediation of soils contaminated with benzo(a)pyrene. We experimented to test the ability of Baikal EM1, a microbiological compound, to destroy benzo(a)pyrene in contaminated soils. The compound was found to be efficient at 96.7% in dangerously contaminated soils (up to 5 MAC), while less efficient at higher contaminations (38.7 to 52.6% at 15 to 19 MAC). When diluted 1 to 100, the compound was more efficient than in case of dilution 1 to 50. Studies have shown Baikal EM1 a promising biological compound for further research into the remediation and restoration of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon-polluted soils.
