【 摘 要 】
A detailed analysis and calculation of the rotational component of the heat capacity of gaseous and solid methane is carried out. Correction of the generally accepted estimates of the contribution of quantum effects to the rotational heat capacity of methane in both gaseous and solid state is performed.
