【 摘 要 】

In this study, partial replacement of cement by fly ash and quarry dust has been made in order to limiting the usage of cement and thereby it leads a way to reduce the cost of construction. Moreover it is suitable for handling the waste products from thermal station and crushers and reduces the impact of environmental pollution issues. In order to compensate the strength and durability related aspects, glass fibers are incorporated in the range of 1%, 2% and 3% of volume fraction along with replacement materials. Replacement of cement is achieved by various replacement levels of 10%, 20% and 30% fly ash and quarry dust. The replacement is made in both individual and combined manner. For evaluating strength and durability characteristics on M20 concrete, compressive strength and porosity tests were carried out. The experimental investigation revealed that the addition of glass fibers up to 2% along with replacement materials in 20% will be the optimum in improving the strength and durability aspects. Regression analysis is also carried out to validate the experimental results.
