【 摘 要 】

This paper is about seat devices for elderly people, firstly the future of furniture market for elderly people and the present situation of furniture products for elderly people were discussed. Combined with the humanization design principle, detailed factors concerning the design of elderly furniture were studied physiologically and psychologically from aspects of spiritual needs, ergonomic, colour and model. Concerning about problems in seat products design for elderly people, some patent examples and design cases were given to further discussion.
