【 摘 要 】
The exothermic peak at high temperature of pure polypropylene (PP) was found in the DSC curve, which has not been reported in the literature. In this paper, Talc was added into PP to obtain talc-modified PP. When the content of talc was 20%, the exothermic peak at high temperature of the modified PP disappeared. The reason for disappearance of high-temperature exothermic peak is discussed. The conclusions are as follows: (1) With increase in talc, the enthalpy change of high-temperature exothermic peak was lower; (2) When the content of talc was up to 20%, the relaxation time increased and the mobility of molecular chain decreased;(3) The decomposition temperature of PP containing 20% talc was up to 325°C (300°C for pure PP), and the maximum decomposition temperature was 367°C (328°C for pure PP).
