【 摘 要 】
A method has been developed for the production of a SiC-TiN composite material based on combining the processes of hot pressing and reaction sintering. The main difference of the method is the use of pure titanium as initial components. The mechanical properties and microstructure of the obtained samples were studied. X-ray phase analysis showed the absence of pure titanium and carbotitanium in the samples. Investigations of the influence of the type of sintering additive on the structure and properties of the resulting material were carried out.
