【 摘 要 】
In this work the lattice Boltzmann method was adopted to simulate the flow past a finite cylinder which is mounted on a wall. The Reynolds number based on the height of the cylinder is ranging from 10 to 160. The effect of the Reynolds number on the flow pattern as well as the drag and lift coefficient of the cylinder was discussed. Results show that the flow becomes unsteady when the Reynolds number is larger than 60. Moreover, the flow pattern becomes more complex for larger Reynolds number.
