【 摘 要 】
Three organic compounds were tested as zinc corrosion inhibitors in hydrochloric acid: cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB), nicotini acid, bromohexadecyl pyridine. The static coupon test results indicate that CTAB and bromohexadecyl pyridine offer the best zinc corrosion protection, while nicotinic acid accelerates zinc corrosion. The polarization results indicate that CTAB, nicotinic acid and bromohexadecyl pyridine induce a positive shift in the E0of zinc in hydrochloric acid. A complex of CTAB and bromohexadecyl pyridine inhibits the corrosion of zinc in hydrochloric acid. SEM results indicate that the CTAB and bromohexadecyl pyridine formed a uniform and compact membrane on the surface of zinc that subsequently protects the zinc from effective corrosion.
