【 摘 要 】
This paper represents production and characterization of highly filled polymer composites based on recycled plastics and sand as a filler. Composites produced on the bases of polyolefin (polyethylene PE and linear low-density polyethylene LLDPE) and polyester (PET) were compared. Different modification techniques, including filler surface treatment, compatibilizer introduction and polymer blend formation were used. Influence of the composition on the composite mechanical properties was evaluated. Newly developed composite based on PET - polycarbonate (PC) blend demonstrates improved mechanical properties and higher thermal stability compared to polyolefin based composites.
