【 摘 要 】

Isotopic distributions of projectile fragmentation in peripheral heavy ion collisions of86Kr on124Sn are calculated within the statistical multifragmentation model. Obtained data are compared to the experimental cross section measurements. We show the enhancement in the production of neutron-rich isotopes close to the projectile, observed in the experiments. The universality of the limitation of the excitation energy induced in the projectile residues is also demonstrated.
