【 摘 要 】

Plasma production of synthetic rutile from leucoxene concentrate with high contents of SiO2is described. Concentrate was melted with carbon in laboratory plasma-arc furnace. Synthetic rutile with 3.6 % Si was produced. Experimental results and thermodynamic calculations are presented.
