【 摘 要 】
The paper presents a mathematical model describing the changes in SO42-ions concentration in a closed system of cooling water circulation in a professional power plant due to the new restrictions posed on industrial emissions by EU and Polish government regulations [1]. Analyzing the behavior of the numerical solutions of the model Authors could determine the optimal volumetric flow rate of wastewater depending on the current configuration of operating power units in a professional power plant.
