【 摘 要 】
Absolute cross sections for O2++production from O2fragmentation by 30-400 eV electron impact were measured using the DETOF technique. This data is compared to the molecular orbitals ionization cross sections of O2, which were calculated using a simple and general procedure, and the fragmentation fractions arising from each molecular orbital were obtained. It was seen from the behaviour of the cross sections in this energy range that O2++results mainly from single vacancy production followed by post-collisional Auger-like deexcitation.
