【 摘 要 】

The L-subshell ionization cross sections by electron impact have been calculated with the classical-trajectory Monte Carlo method. The results are compared with the quantum mechanical calculations and the cross sections by positron impact. It is demonstrated that the classical treatments are quite useful for electron-atom collisions.
