【 摘 要 】

Experimental and theoretical work was performed to investigate the guiding of 4.5- keV Ar7+ions through a conical macrocapillary. The bulk conductivity was varied by changing the capillary temperature from 24 - 110 °C. A minimum in the transmitted ion intensity was experimentally observed at forward direction, which was reproduced and interpreted by the simulations.
