This text summarizes the talks presented at the 3rd International Workshop on State of the Art in Nuclear Cluster Physics (SOTANCP3) held in Yokohama (Japan) from 26 to 30 May 2014. Some personal opinions are also expressed on two much debated topics: the12C spectrum in the continuum and conflicting interpretations of cluster wave functions.
