【 摘 要 】

In this paper the physics of clustering in atomic nucleus as seen from a mean field perspective will be discussed. Special attention is paid to phenomena involving octupole deformation like the α structure of20Ne or the emission of heavy clusters. The stabilizing role of spin for cluster-like highly deformed states is also discussed in the case of36Ar.
