【 摘 要 】
We address the physical meaning of coarse graining scale and the hidden statistical ensemble in event by event analysis in hydrodynamic approach to heavy-ion collisions. It is shown that these features are appropriately understood in the frame work of variational formulation and pointed out that the local thermal equilibrium does not necessarily play a critical role in the description of the collective flow patterns. We further discuss that the effect of viscosity is also formlated in the form of the variational method including fluctuations.
