【 摘 要 】
Results are presented of a search for dark matter production using the CMS detector at the LHC. Collisions of pp at √ 7 TeV totaling 5 fb-1were counted for nal states consisting of missing transverse energy accompanied by either a monophoton or a monojet. The data is consistent with Standard Model background, so limits are placed on both spin- dependent and spin-independent dark matter particle masses and production cross-sections. These are examined within the context of direct detection experiments where our results extend the current best limits.
