【 摘 要 】

The LHeC is envisioned to collider electrons and protons concurrently with proton-proton collisions at the LHC. The present report is based on the recently published conceptual design report of the LHeC and on contributions to the European strategy debate in emphasizing the role of the LHeC to complement and complete the high luminosity LHC programme. The report focusses on the importance of high precision PDF and α s determinations for the physics of the Higgs boson and beyond the Standard Model.
