【 摘 要 】

The article describes the most important characteristics determining the working capacity of plain bearings, which are the compressive and bending strengths, modulus of elasticity, crack resistance, wear resistance, coefficient of friction, permissible specific load. The temperature dependence of the mechanical characteristics has a particularly important consideration. The details of those mechanical characteristics for this class of materials are not available. The investigations of the noted properties of carbon materials impregnated with antimony based alloys were carried out in the present paper.
