【 摘 要 】
Understanding of the hydrochemical characteristics of the groundwater provides insight into the interaction of water with the environment. In this study, twenty-four groundwater samples were collected from study area analysed for various chemical parameters such as pH, K+, Na+, Ca1+, Mg2+, SO42-, HCO3 -, Cl-, TDS, TH. The objective of the study was to determine the groundwater hydrochemical facies and the main hydrochemical processes of governing the groundwater chemistry. The groundwater samples fall within the Ca-Mg-HCO3 and Ca-Mg-Cl type in Piper trilinear diagram. Water-rock interaction and anthropogenic activities appear to be the major processes controlling the groundwater chemistry.
