【 摘 要 】
In this paper, The tensile tests of Mg-2Zn-0.7Ce (at. %) alloys before and after cryogenic show that the cryogenic treatment can significantly increase the plasticity of the alloy. The yield strength, tensile strength and elongation of the as-extruded alloy were 245 MPa, 197 MPa and 9.6%, respectively. After cryogenic treatment at -196°C for 24h, the elongation of the alloy increased to 17.5%, but the tensile strength did not change significantly, the hardness slightly increased, and the yield strength decreased slightly. The fracture mechanism of alloy after cryogenic treatment changes from brittle fracture to ductile fracture.
