【 摘 要 】
Safe bus operation is an important requirement for stable power transmission of a power system. Further, bus protection is also an important part of relay protection. Regarding the former, a variety of different protection principles have been proposed. Based on the amount of protection used in different protection principles, this paper describes the advantages and disadvantages of power frequency protection, transient parameters protection, and full-waveform protection. Finally, the paper summarizes the problems to be solved by current bus protection and formulates its future research direction.
