【 摘 要 】

Aqueous potassium lysinate (LysK) has been proposed as an alternative to aqueous alkanolamines for CO2capture due to fast kinetics and large absorption capacity. However, thermodynamic modeling for aqueous LysK system has not been available yet. In this work, a modified Kent-Eisenberg model with correlated equilibrium constants was developed to interpret the vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data at postcombustion capture conditions. The predictions from the developed model are in good agreement with the experimental results with AAD within 19 %.
