【 摘 要 】

The paper describes design and geomechanical assessment of cut-and-fill system of stoping by vertical blocks under protection of artificial roof, with breakage and cemented backfill in the conditions of limited area of Internatsionalnaya kimberlite pipe. It has been found that safe stoping is ensured if the pillar between vertical blocks has the double width of a block.
