【 摘 要 】
To meet the application requirements of 4 kW DC 270 to DC 28 V converter on airplane, an air-cooled design method is proposed. According to converter's circuit structure, the losses of main components and the air-cooled design structure are determined. The thermal resistance model of the air-cooled is built, and the process of the air-cooled design is illustrated. Then the air pressure and air volume of fan are determined. The results demonstrate that the temperature rise of the heat sink is less than 35°C when the output is 4 kW and the converter can work reliably when ambient temperature is 70°C.
