【 摘 要 】
This paper proposes a theoretical hypothesis, expands the Mincer income model and constructs the Ordered Logit model. Based on the data of 3109 questionnaires, it conducts an empirical study on the relationship between socioeconomic status and income inequality. The results show that: (1)The objective socioeconomic status of a citizen has a essential positive impact on residents' income. The more human capital and material capital accumulate and the better profession grades and job ranks, the higher the income level of residents will be; the interaction between objective socioeconomic status with household registration and gender further expands the income inequality between urban and rural areas and gender income inequality. (2)The subjective socioeconomic status and its upward flow have momentous negative effects on the subjective income inequality. The higher the subjective socioeconomic status the higher the recognition degree of residents on the current income distribution equity will be. (3)Objective socioeconomic status has an adverse impact on subjective income inequality. The more human capital accumulates and the higher income level occupation grades and job ranks of individuals, the smaller subjective income inequality. In addition, the nature of work unit and social insurance has a essential positive effect on residents' income, and the degree of trust and social insurance has a significant negative effect on subjective income inequality.【 预 览 】
