【 摘 要 】
In Indonesia with the increasing demand of electrical energy, fuel production from coal and crude oil will reach its limitation in a few decades, along with the increase of a number of extreme weather and global warming. Based on that, it is needed to find a solution for the electricity demand by harnessing alternative renewable energies which potentially useable in Indonesia. One of those alternatives is wind energy, which is renewable and can be turned into electricity using a wind turbine. In this thesis, we studied the correlation of distances between turbines in a wind farm with their power and cost. We set wind turbines in several ways by means of distance variation. Then define an objective function, i.e. a function which depends on the power produced and the cost needed in a way such that its value decreases when the power increases or the cost decreases and vice versa. Lastly, we analyse which wind turbine layout gives the minimum value for the objective function.
