【 摘 要 】
Epoxy resins are widely used to connect various structural elements made of polymer composite materials. The integrity of the critical components depends on the strength and durability of such compounds. At the same time, epoxy resins have pronounced viscoelastic properties. An experimental study was conducted of the possibility of using fiber-optic strain sensors to register the viscoelastic behavior of materials. The fiber Bragg grating (FBG) was used as a sensor. The main objectives of this study were: registration of material creep (growth of strain with time at constant external load) and subsequent (after removal of load) recovery of strain using surface mounted and embedded fiber-optic strain sensors.
