【 摘 要 】

The paper proposes a presentation of the mechanisms of institutionalization by which materials engineering becomes an action instrument for the circular economy. In the proposed variant, the designed actions are grouped under the following steps: Analysis of the current situation and of the assimilation potential at the level of socio-economical mechanisms from the perspective of eco-responsibility; constructive establishment and functioning of the reglementation framework; innovative technological ideas and the entrepreneurial way of promoting of technical solutions; designing and ensuring finance systems, especially financial instruments. The introduction of specific elements from materials engineering stems from the fact that products and services, no matter how complex, use materials in order to ensure some functionality.
