【 摘 要 】
We investigated the application of automatic TIG welding for LNG process pipeline in Yamal LNG module construction project. The study achieved efficient automatic TIG welding of low temperature carbon steel and stainless steel pipeline in root welding and hot welding. The properties of the weld meet the requirements of project technical specification and standard ASME B31.3. Welding efficiency increases 2 times compared with conventional manual TIG welding in root welding and hot welding. Therefore, the construction quality and progress of the project are improved.
