【 摘 要 】
The startup and dynamic of free piston Stirling engine have been studied. A linearized pressure dynamic model has been built and the calculation formulas of the frequency and phase angle have been got based on the model. This paper makes a comparative analysis of frequency and phase angle between theoretical and experimental results at different charge pressure, load resistance and spring stiffness. The results show that the pressure poses a big effect on the frequency and phase angle. Due to the phase angle changes with the pressure, the free piston Stirling engine has a starting point of pressure. Only when the charge pressure is higher than the starting point the free piston Stirling engine could start up. According to the model, the frequency and phase angle both also change with the load resistance and spring stiffness of the piston and displacer. The results of the model and experiment show the same variation trend, but a deviation still is existing. This study is not only could calculate the frequency and phase angle, but also helpful to solve the starting problem of free piston Stirling engine.
