【 摘 要 】

The concentration of furfural in transformer oil is an important indicator of the degree of aging of insulating paper. By measuring the content of furfural in the transformer oil, it is possible to understand the degree of aging of the insulating paper and estimate the residual life of the transformer. In this paper, we introduce a principle and method for the determination of trace furfural in transformer oil by high performance liquid chromatography. The measured data show that the method is small, simple, and sensitive, which is of great significance for diagnosing the aging of transformer insulation paper.
