【 摘 要 】
AC filter bank switching in the HVDC inverter station may cause harmonics which leads to commutation failure. This paper analysis the characteristics of AC filter switching and build the transient progress circuit and mathematics model. And the time-response solution of AC filter overvoltage is acquired, the AC voltage magnitude decrease and distortion can be calculated. Commutation caused by these reasons was analyzed. And a consecutive commutation failure mitigation method is proposed. The algorithm was verified in the PSCAD/EMTDC.
