The article briefly describes the history of the Road Laboratory, its structure and the equipment for quality tests of materials used for the construction of road surfaces carried out by the Team of Asphalts and Mineral-Asphalt Mixtures and the Surface Diagnostics Team of the laboratory of the Warsaw Division of General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) in Opacz Kolonia in Poland.
