【 摘 要 】

Web Engineering was introduced as a specialization in the Master of Information Technology (MIT) course at University of Western Sydney(UWS) in 1999.It has been reviewed internally and by external committeesthrice in the last twelve years.These years have witnessed tremendous growthof the Web and Web-based applications.The tools and technologies supportingthe Web and Web-applications have mushroomed and methodologies havebeen introduced in the Web Engineering area.Consequently, the concerns andissues that initially motivated the development of the Web Engineeringcurriculum have also evolved over time. This paper describes our experience ofdelivering Web Engineering curriculum, the problems encountered, the solutions to those problems and the lessons learnt.
