【 摘 要 】

The purpose of this presentation is to share with theinterested audience some reflections after 14 years ofteaching HCI in undergraduate programs in ComputerEngineering, Information Systems and Computer Science atthe Department of Informatics of the Pontifical CatholicUniversity of Rio de Janeiro. In particular, I will discuss thepositioning of HCI in Informatics and the challenges ofteaching it in such context. As an interdisciplinary area itmust be learned, taught, researched and applied keeping inmind not only this positioning but also its relations withvarious other disciplines such as Ergonomics and Design,Psychology, Social Communication and many others.
