In this paper, we propose to investigate three main socialontological schools – practice theory, assemblages theories andactor-network theory – to focus on the assemblage theory, and toclarify social ontology underlying the last one, for finallydiscussing its contribution in the debate on the philosophies ofthe (social)Web, in order to specify what social ontology for
