【 摘 要 】

Object-oriented data models represent a current end-point in the evolution of datamodels [23] . Their formalization has been attempted in a variety of papers, including [5;6;19] .This short paper in dicates what we consider the commonintersection ofthese (and other)approaches;we list the relevant features and components, and give an idea of how to formalize the notion of an object-oriented database schema.
