【 摘 要 】
In this descriptive investigation the motivational factors to playingvideogames are confirmed through the adaptation of the Sherry, Lucas andGreenberg´s Scale of uses and gratifications [1] administered to a sample of 71videogame players contacted through internet. In this samplethe motivationalfactors to play videogames were: challenge, the graphics, emotion, socialinteraction, amusement, competition, fantasy, sense of feeling strong and realismsensation. The results obtained represent an approximation to the knowledge ofthe gratifying elements of videogames. Finally, it stresses the importance ofincorporating such gratifying elements into the design of e-learning formationprograms in the same way they are applied to the serious games modality.
