【 摘 要 】

Since few years, enterprise information technologies (IT) are no more seen as a simple technological support for business strategies in theenterprise. Moreover, standalone IT departments are created in order to supportevolution and growth of IT in the enterprise. Often, IT department defines aspecific strategy describing vision, goals and objectives of IT development inthe organization. However, to remain competitive, IT strategy and ITinvestment should be coherent with global enterprise strategies. The continuousprocess of preserving coherence between Business/IT strategies is widely known as strategic Business/IT alignment. Our work aims at discussing therelation between interview based Business IT alignement discovery and the Strategic Alignement Model proposed by Venkatraman. The paper proposes also modeling tools and engineering methodologies to support this alignment process.
