【 摘 要 】

This report summarizes the important aspects of the workshop on "Managing andMining Genome Information: Frontiers in Bioinformatics" which took place October31st until November 4th, 2005. Twenty five Participants came from six differentcountries representing various "branches" of the bioinformatics community. Thepresentations ranged from describing highly theoretical models to presenting prototypes or systems for managing and mining data in bioinformatics.
