【 摘 要 】
Graph or image pyramids can be used for hierarchical partitioning of images. One related application area is the automatical determination of landscapes in Landscape Ecology. The visualization of graph pyramids facilitates studies about their structure, such as their vertex distribution or height in relation of a specific input image. Thus, a researcher can debug algorithms and ask for statistical information. Furthermore, it improves the better understanding of contraction processes or the role of vertex and edge attributes. DGCV is is an interactive visualization tool that supports several coordinated views, for example on graph pyramids, subpyramids, and level graphs. Most important properties and applications of this tool are described in this paper.
