SAS has historically offered State and Countyboundary files for thematic mapping withSAS/GRAPH. Many SAS users want to map at finerlevels of geography~ and others are notfamiliar with the benefits of mapping. Anextensive set of boundary files are availablefrom commercial sources which cah expand themap analysis capabilities of SAS/GRAPH. Anoverview of how a user would choose appropriateboundaries to accomplish specific goals isgiven.
