【 摘 要 】

Particle dispersion in a square duct flow is studied usinglarge eddy simulation combined with Lagrangian particletracking under conditions of oneway coupling.The flowhas a bulk Re = 250k, with six particle sizes ranging from 5to 1000 m examined. For the particles, predictionsdemonstrate that secondary flows within the duct dominatesmall particle dispersion, and result in a uniform distribution,whilst gravity promotes the deposition of large particles onthe duct floor.
