【 摘 要 】
Multipletimescale models have been recently studied by the authors with focus on predicting nonequilibrium flows. Two twotimescale lineareddyviscosity models have been further developed, improved and tested over a wide range of test cases, including simple flows, such as channel flows and zero pressure gradient boundary layers, and more complex flows such as homogeneous shear flows, adversepressure gradient, favourablepressuregradient and oscillatory bound ary layers, normally strained flows, fully developed ramp up and oscillatory pipe flows and steady backward facing step flows. The two new models performed reasonably well in all test cases, specially when taking into account the inherent lim
